[SKIN TRUTH] Re-thinking about cleansing

Have you ever heard of pityriasis before? Psorasis? Or whatever it’s called.
Well anyway… I had pityriasis all my life since I was young… Well not all the time but only during autumn and winter they would start to grow on my face.
After starting to exploit skin-related products, whilst studying, I started asking myself, “Do I clean too excessively?”

So I started to change how I wash my face.
By rinsing with water in the morning and with soap at night…

Come to think of it, of course you should cleanse your face with either soap or a cleanser.
Because stuff like dust and pollution will make your face impure…
Plus, for women they would have to take off their makeup…

But then a thought came in to my mind. Why? Why bother in the morning?
Come to think of it, not even a single dust will stain your face when you wash your hair with shampoo and cleanse your face before you go to sleep at night.
Well you definitely won’t be putting makeup on before you go to sleep…
But when you wake up in the morning sebum will be secreted and will get oily on your face.
So, habitually we would cleanse our face with soap again in order to wash it out.
Which is why, in the end we are already addicted to the oil-free feeling even before we know it

Right here, this is why such problems occur.

Sebum is not so bad after all isn’t it?
If the skin’s corneum is the physical shield, the sebum would be the chemical shield, that is surrounding the physical shield,
and it is the primary shield, which is essential to strengthen the physical layer.
Plus, it is the best natural moisturizer that is made to fit the human body.

However, we wash this away and start to put on a ‘not so fit for the human body’ artificial moisturizer.

After I have changed the way of cleansing my face, it is totally fine right now even though it’s autumn. Let me compare it with the past,
when I woke up and started cleansing my face with soap in the morning, my face started to feel as if it was getting stretched and pityriasis starts to blossom.
Don’t force yourselves to put on moisturizes, you really don’t have to. Honestly, I hate stuff that is sticky.

This not just for pitysiasis but also those who are having trouble because of seborrhea, atopic skin or contact dermatitisor dermatitis,
these people are the ones where their skin’s protection is weak.
So for those who have skin trouble, you should not wash away the best natural moisturizer that god gave us.
If you do, then it is the same as going into a battle with your castle gate open.
Without sebum, thecorneum will easily be cracked and possibility skin can be damaged.
Too much cleansing may be the cause for most dermatitis’.

So everyone, remember that the sebum that arises in the morning is 100% natural moisturizer.
So please do not clean it off

Bad cleansing habits have been introduced by companies that have profit as their main aim in a capitalist society through excessive advertisements…

When you cleanse your face at night you should use a product that is mild acidic.
And cleanse only with water in the morning

By just changing your cleansing habit this doesn’t mean that your dermatitis will get better
but, if you start to take some treatment as well, although it may take some time, your skin will get stronger day by day and it will help you overcome your dermatitis.
